What is a WATER PUMP?
The structure, performance, driving method, etc. vary depending on the engine type, but centrifugal pumps are commonly used.
◆It is the central component of an automobile engine cooling system.
◆Cooling water cooled by cooling fan and radiator is sent into the engine water jacket to cool the inside of the engine (cylinder periphery, cylinder head, etc.) and sent back to the radiator.
◆Cooling water is sent to heat exchangers such as car heaters and oil coolers

What is an OIL PUMP?
The structure, performance, drive method, etc. vary depending on the engine type, but gear pumps are the most common.
◆It is the central component of the automobile engine lubricating oil system.
◆The engine oil is sucked in from the oil pan and is pumped out to each part of the engine to lubricate each sliding part and prevent burning.
◆Engine oil that has passed through the oil cooler is also used to cool the piston parts.
